Years of Endurance: A Memoir of the Battlecruiser HMS Tiger 1914-16

We had some difficulty in deciding where this book should appear in the Collection. In the end, we decided that it should appear in our category of "Royal Navy Surface Ships", because a great part of the book is about life on HMS Tiger in the two years leading up to, and including, the Battle of Jutland. It is mainly an account of life as an officer, albeit a medical officer, on board one of the new, large battlecruisers during the first half of the war. The reader will get a very good picture of what life was like for the ship's company in wartime (not pleasant at all!!).
